M'Namee took five wickets for 86, Fox two for 99, and Macartney two for 28. New South Wales in the second innings made 20G (Kippax 52, Jackson not out 104): Leo took five wickets for 30, Scott two for 23, and Grimmett two for 50. South Australia's ■remaining batsmen quickly succumbed "to tho wiles of M'Namee, .who was bowling well, and took three of the four wickets which fell, this'morning. Needing 547 to win, New South Wales opened disastrously, three wickets, including Macartney, who 'made a "duck," falling for a total of 9. Kippax and Jackson stopped 'the roli, and the fifth wicket put on 105 runs. Jackson played brilliantly, and drove and glanced beautifully, but had three lives."
