The ■ International Commission of Aerial Navigation's regulations, introduced in 1927, "provide that, owing to the increasing volume of air traffic, pilots of largo passenger 'planes should be relieved of the duty of communicating telephonically with aerodromes. They also order that 'planes carrying ten or more passengers must carry a wireless operator. -The Imperial Airways, Ltd., is consequently training its air mechanics as wireless operators.
