At 11.47 p.m. last night the FireBrigade roeeived a call to 38, Thompson, street, a. two-story eight-roomed house, owned and occupied by Mrs. Alice Luke. Only slight damage was done to the contents and to flooring boards at the rear of the premises. The insurances wore £1700 on tho house; and &3dO on. the contents, both ill Jne Son Office, .
