PAREMATA BOATING CLUB
The Paremata Boating Club held a series of races during the last week-end. Jm-st-class sailing boats were: Mr. Stirling s-Cooee, scr, 1; Mr. P. Prance's Kotuku, Bmm, 2; and Mr. H. Prance's Sej. -Lady. These boats raced for points for the Biadley Shield, and points for the Hansford Foundation Cup. The second-class sailing boats sailed for the club trophy,, as well as for points fothe Moorehouse .Cup. The starters wereMr. Tauschka?s Blue ■ Bird, scr;:' Mr Smith Arahiwi, 2min; Kajah; 4min; Mr' Prances Bint, Cmin. Owing to the'strone tide .the Arahiwi was the only boat to finish. , -, . The motor-boats raced for points for the Hansford Poundation Cup, and the Bradey Shield. Seven boats started. Th° result was: Mr. Shearer's Robert E. Loe Omin, 1; Mr. A. Stirling's Tui, 4min, 2 Mr. E. O'Connor's Titania, scr, 3. Othor I starters were: Mr.- Barber's Tamahine ' 4min; Mr. M'Keever's Moki, smin; Mr ' Jeys Miss Paremata, Bminj and 'Mr i Whiterod's Spray, llmin. "-i Races will be held as usual next weekend.
