(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMEESTON N.,- This Day. Anxiety.is entertained for tho whereabouts of a local resident, "William Gavin, who has not beon seen since tho evening of tho 10th. Ho is a native of Australia. Gavin is a barman. He is sft llin in height, and wore a b'Jue suit,, heliotrope shirt, black tie, light tan shoes, and a light felt hat. He is a single man, 35 ye rs of age. As far as ■ can bo ascertained ho has no relatives in the Dominion.
