(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, This Day. A distressing accident occurred at Hukanui on Monday afternoon, when Beryl Mabey, three and a half years old, daughter of-Mr. It. Mabey, had an arm crushed by a motor-lorry. Her father was manoeuvrymg the lorry in the Hukanui station yard, when ho heard a cry. He jumped down, and found the rear wheel lying over the child's arm.- With frantic haste he moved the lorry, but it was found that the child's arm was crushed and mangled. She was removed to the Pabiatua Hospital, where the arm was amputated, "_ _
