■PALMERSTQN N., This Day. The Nomads touring team concluded their programme yesterday, when they drew with Manawatu after an indifferent display on both sides. Continuing their first innings, the visitors got within 14 of Manawatu's total,'Bernau top-scoring with one : short of. the half-century. The last four wickets only added one ruii Manawatu's second effort. yielded -145 for eight wickets,,when the, home -side declared. -With three-quarters of an hour, to go and 150 i.;'to get to win, Nomads realised the impossibility, of the task and played out • time, i having compiled •67 for the loss of.; three 1 wiekets.;:Scores: -.
