WANGANUI, ■ Cth January. The Wanganui tennis championships, the most successful ever held here from every point of view, were concluded today. An additional result to those given yesterday was: Ladies' championship singles, Mrs. Melody (Wellington) beat Miss Calver (Wanganui), 6-1, 6-2, after an exciting game in which the Wellington player gave a -wonderful display which was a revelation 1 to the spectators.
