The "Daily Dispr.tch" states that extraordinary scenes marked in Paris attempt? by the police to arrest Maurice Rambourd, a dangerous character, who barricaded hmsclf. in his lodgings after shooting an inoffensive costermonger. The police demanded his surrender, whereat Eambourd partially opened the door,' fired twice, and reclosed it. The' police decided to use gas.
