(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)' : GISBOENB, This Day. T The members of Mr. Beale's (Aucfcv land) _ cricket team had an unpleasant' experience en route to Gisborne. The' first incident occurred on the Kowera Hill, when the car, in attempting to pastf another, had the luggage torn off of it* side, and considerably damaged A!' littlo further.on the car broke down,' and the party was stranded on the roadside. A relief car also broke down, and - the party didn't reach Gisborno till 11.40 p.m. Finally, when the orig. inal car arrived with the luggage it caught fire outside the hotel, but' thai flames were extinguished before ■ much:* damage had resulted. ■ - - - ','. ~.J
