Shipments of potatoes to the Islands In rather unexpected quantities have been inado from Auckland this week, in tho form of extra orders by tho Niagara. This trade- Is tlue to tho high price ruling Sn Sydney, so that Auckland 13 Betting nil tho orders at present. Tho prico Is really so high in Sydney that an export from Auckland to that market was expected, but severe restrictions have to be overcome, and shippers will not ta,ke the risk.
