Delegates from the League of Nations and twelve Administrations, including Nw Zealand,' concerned in health problems in the Pacific, attended the International Pacific Health Conference, which was opened by the Act-ing-Prime Minister, Dr. Barl Page, who welcomed the delegates to Australia, ' I The Commonwealth delegate, Dr. Cumpston, was elected president. He announced that none of the discussions would be communicated to the Press. A report would be presented in due course to the Administrations concerned. " - Papers are,to be read on problems affecting the health and social conditions of the Pacific Islands and of tropical portions of Australia. None of these would be made public.
