HOSTILE RESOLUTION "GLORIFICATION OF MILITAR- - ISM." (By Telegraph.) (Special to( "The Evsning Poit.") CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. "That this Presbytery deeply deplores the undue glorification of militarism, wliich is apparently the main object of the proposed military pageant to be held in Christchurch next March, as being contrary to the spirit of the League of Nations, to which our nation belongs, and which the General Assembly of our church has approved.'? The above was the text of a notice of motion given by the Rev. 31. Robertson at the meeting of the Christchurch Presbytery yesterday.
