ELECTRIC LIGHT SPORTS
Sports meetings by electric light are likely to be very popular in Wellington. The local centre of the N.Z.A.A.A. proposes to hold these meetings regularly in future, Ln'tl the next meeting will be held on the Basin Reserve on Saturday night, commencing at 8 o'clock, when another varied programme of events will be decided. The meeting'will also be tho first of three to be held during the season in connection with. tho: Dcwar Shield competition, and this will no doubt add to the keenness, of tho competitors. Several cycling events are on tho programme, and a special raco which is exciting much interest is that betv.een W. Kyle (New Zealand champion) and tho Wellington ladies' champion relay team over a distance of 440 yards; A band will again be in attendance.
