PARAMATA BOATING CLUB.
Tho Paremata Boating Club opened its yacht and motor-boat season last week-end, when there were about two hundred people present. The patron, ■Mr. P. Bradey, in declaring tho season open, said he hoped to see four or five invitation races during tho season. The vice-patron, Mr. M'Konzie, said that ho hoped that the Plimmerton Boating Club would join with the Paremata Boating.Club and make a very successful season. Mr. Mildenhall spoke on behalf of the Plimmerton Boating Club, and congratulated the commodore of the Paremata Boating Club, Mr. Sterling, for his success with the Peggy. Captain Wilkinson, on behalf of tho Evans Bay Yacht and Motor-boat Club, wished the Paremata Boating Club every success for the coming season.
A dinghy race for boys was held in tho. afternoon, and afternoon tea was served to the visitors in the clubhouse. Both the. Plimmerton and Evans Bay Clubs were well represented. Tomorrow a motor-boat race will be held for the Mold Trophy, presented by Mr. F. M'Kccver.
