WHERE OLIVER ASKED FOR MORE.

LONDON, 9th December.
The Southwark Council is acquiring the freehold of the Mint Street Workhouse, home of Oliver Twist, for the purpose of preservation. Already the copper from which the gruel was ladled, when Oliver asked for more, is in the possession of the council.
