Sia Ting, , representing the Chinese Kuo Mm Tang, has arrived. He will follow the League Council's proceedings and watch the attitude of Chiij the Pelriii Government's delegate.
Ting has sent'a, letter to the Secre« tariat declaring that the Cantonese Go* vcrnment alone is in a position toj speak and negotiate on behalf of the Chinese people. The Kuo Mm Tang's principals demand the immediate abolition of all unequal treaties between! China and. the Powers. The BelgoChineso Treaty cannot be renewed. Thei letter adds: "We consider all negotiations with the Pekin Government aa non-existent and the claims of Belgium and other Imperialist nations in, th» League as null and void." ' "
