EASTBOURNE FERRY SERVICE.
Attractions on the Eastbourne ferry steamers to-morrow will include a brass band, which will play selections on the Wellington wharf and on the journey across the harbour,- an 4 then, render an open-air conceit at- the' Day's Bay pavilion. A number of local competitors in the beauty competition will be on board. The T.S.S. Muritai is again in commission for the summer trade, and this ship,' with her beautiful promenade and Bun decks, is a.great favourite with week-end excursionists. '■ A special feature of the. summer time-table is the early boat leaving Wellington on Sunday mornings at 9.30 o'clock, which will be much appreciated and patronised by tampers, bowlers, and tennis players. The ferry service is now offering concessions that are said to be unequalled anywhere in the Dominion. Applications for picnics and excursions should be made to the ferry office, and; there is no party too large or too small to be handled.
