OPENING IN CANTERBURY.

CHRISTCHUECH, This Day
The inclement weather of the past few days will have a detrimental effect on the stock, and may cause a slight delay in the opening of the Canterbury Freezing Works this week. Large supplies of coal are being railed to the various works from the West Coast.
