To-day there are over 5200. Over 200 applications for "permits" were received this month. The receipts for current were estimated at £39,500 for 192(3-1927. So far the actual receipts indicate a revenue of over £50,000. The number of "units" sold April to September, 1926, is 102 per cent, greater than those sold April to September, 1925. The Hutt Valley Power Board lias .reached third place among power boards without collecting a rate—the two ahead of Hutt Valley in number of consumers collected rates last year. Hutt Valley is 15/- per consumer better off this year "than last year.
