(United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 30th November, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 29th Nov.
The "Daily News" says that information has been received in London which increases the mystery of recent events on tho Franco-Italian frontier. Italy has mounted 150 guns between San Eemo and Ventimiglia, and has reconstructed the mountain roads to enable tho passage of guns. She has also erected blockhouses. Similar precautions have been taken on the French side, where forts have been rearmed and reoccupicd. An infantry regiment has moved from Marseilles and is now stationed at Saint Martin-Vesublo, close to the frontier.
