"MILITARISM RUN MAD"

(To the Editor.)

Sir,—There would be a wild stretch of imagination if I confused a kit parade with ordinary drill and rirto practice, but such is not the case. There, is no necessity for "camp officials" to deny that ordinary drill and rifle and bayonet exercises took place last Sunday. Here is a definite statement: E Company, First Battalion, Wellington Regiment, w-ere drilled for at. least two hours last Sunday, 21st November. No kit parade about* that. Also, it was not a correspondent who was" not game to sign his letter and furnish proof; I will do both.---I am, etc., P. ROBERTSON.
