NOTABLE GUIDERS
LADY MARJORIE DALRYMPLE AND MISS BEHRENS.
Lady Marjorie Dalrymple, who left a few months ago to organise Girl Guide work in Queensland, returned by the Marama this morning, accompanied by her mother, Lady Menzies. Lady Marjorie was ten months in New Zealand on her last trip, six of which were given to work among the Guides, but this visit will be spent more in seeing the country before taking up the principalship of Woodford House School next year. "The movement is progressing extremely well in Australia, and even better here," said Lady Marjorie, who also mentioned the arrival in Auckland to-day of Miss Alice Behrens, who has had charge of Foxlease Hall in England, This is a country home where Guides from all parts of tho world may meet and stay or rest, and it is to be hoped that the gift of such a place as Foxlease Hall will be followed by others of the same nature in different lands. While in New Zealand Miss Behrens will help in organising Girl Guide work throughout the country, under the direction, of Mrs. Wilson, the Dominion Commissioner _^___
