POSITION AT AUCKLAND
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. There was no change yesterday in the position created by slaughtermen refusing to undertake work on the new season's export stock at the Westfield Freezing Company's works. No further call has been made for men at any of the freezing works in the Auckland district, but action must be taken by the company before long to deal with stock coming to hand. It is generally accepted by those engaged in the industry that none of the, regular slaughtering hands will bo available for work unless the trouble that originated in the Hawkes Bay district is settled.
