"SYSTEM WILL EXPLODE"
A FRENCH OPINION.
(Received 23rd November, 10 a.m.) PARIS, 22nd November.
Analysing the Imperial Conference report, "Pertinax" says that Britain will be more averse to written alliances, since in times of -stress her attitude will bo influenced by the Dominions. "It is difficult to conduct foreign policy when Empire-wide approval is necessary," he says, "and sooner or later some grave accident will explode the system. Lot us hope we are not involved in that accident."
