PRESS GAMES.

A meeting of the committee of the Combined Press Cricket dubs was held last evening. Mr. J. D. Howett presided and others present were Messrs. G. Mummery, A. E. Davis, C. Toomer, H. Bishop, and R. D. Roberts (honorary secretary and treasurer). The draw for the second round of the Walter Blundell Cup competition resulted as follows.—First series; "Post" v. "Truth," Newtown Park; "Dominion" v. "Times," Eelburn Park. Second series: "Times" v. "Post," Newtown Park; "Dominion" v. "Truth," Kelburn Bark. Third series: "Dominion" v. "Post," Newtown Park; "Times," v. "Truth," Kelburn Park. The amended rule dealing with the starting time of games is to be strictly enforced in future, and any team failing to commence play at 2.15 p.m. will forfeit the match.
