CONTESTS FOR BANNER
Keen rivalry and good finishes were features ,of the annual sports meeting o£ the Wellington combined Bible-classes, held at Athletic Park on Saturday afternoon. The attendance was poor, but each team had a fair following. Among the competitors were several prominent athletes, and these, with the younger runners, provided a good afternoon's sport. Much interest was taken in the competition for the championship banner, which was won by the Taranaki street and Vivian street teams, with 19 points each.
