The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated the 20th inst.,, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:— BUTTER. Fair demand for stored New Zealand and Australian. All others slow. Official quotations are:— New Zealand.—Finest salted: Old, 138s to 142s per cwt (la 2%d to 19 3d per lb) ; new, 14Ss to 150s per cwt (Is 3%d to Is 4d per lb) ; other qualities, 13'0s to 136s per cwt (Is ijd to Is 2(d per lb). New Zealand Control Board official minimum prices are: Finest salted, 150s per cwt., (Is 4fl per lb); first grade, 149s per cwt (Is 3%d). Australian. —Salted: 138s to 144s per cwt (Is 2%d to Is 3<A(l per lb); exceptional, 14Cs ncr cwt (Is 3Jd per lb). Unsalted, IS4S to 158s per cwt (Is 4%a to Is 4%d per lb); exceptional, 160s per cwt (Is 5d per lb). Othor qualities, 11G3 to J4os per cwt (Is o>id to Is 3d per lb). Official quotations English Finest Farmers.—Nov., 102s to IOSs per cwt (109 id to llVid per lb). Demand is good for finest. Canadian.—Coloured and white, 85s to SSs per cwt (9d to 9%d per lb). Now Zealand.—Coloured and white, S4s to 80s per cwt (Od per lb). Control Board minimum pricos for coloured and white are: Finest,. 85s per cwt (9d per lb) ; first grado, 84s per cwt (Od per lb). Apples.—American : Little more demand for barrels, but "slow sales for boxes. Trices for barrels iiro:—York Imperial. Stayman's Wlnci sap, and Ben Davis, 18s to 24s per barrel; Alhcmarlc, Newton Pippin, 30s per barrel. Prices for boxes aro: Jonathan, Newton Pippin, and Delicious, 8s to 12s per box; Cox's Orange, 20s to 25s per box. . Wool.—Bradford market steady and fair business doing at last quotations.
