A SMALLER BALL
TO ASSIST BOWLERS.
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) LONDON, 20th Nov. The County Cricket Advisory Committee discussed the advisablenens of assisting bowlers and agreed to favour a smaller ball. It appointed a sub-committee consisting of Harris, Dixon, Higron, and Jup'p to consider the matter, also the question of paying less attention to the preparation of wickete. Concerning the days allotted for Tests, it was decided to await the effect of any alteration the sub-committee might recommend. Lancashire's proposal to aboligh the tea interval on the third day was adopted.
