OLD NAVALS.

The Old Navals' Defenco Rifle Club continued their programme at Trentham on Saturday, firing for the championship S/R aggregate and second series over ranges 500 and 000 yards. The conditions were good for firing, but only moderate scoring was done by the majority of members.1 The best guv score was made by It. Sneddon (45 at each range), Deputy-President Goldflnrti getting 46. at 600. Rifteman Kelly gained top place with his handicap of six points. President Standidge's team won the Martin Challenge Badges with a score of 335 points, Rifleman Carter's team being runners-up with 334 points after an exciting finish.
