Tho Pctono Bifle Club flred the final shoot in the first series on Saturday. The ranges were 500 and 600 yards. Thcro was an excellent attendance, and some very keen shootIng, considering the changeable light and wind, which at times were puzzling. At 500 yards H. Mitchell and B. Craggs (a visitor) each totalled 48, closely followed by V. Broughton, E. Balllnger, T. Warburton, and H. Rule with 47 each. At 600 yards A. Balllnger, the veteran, showed the way with 48, a. very fine score, A. O'Donnell 46, and R. H. Nicholl 45, being next. The spoon winners were A. Ballinger in A; H. Mitchell In B, and F. Kershaw, jun., )n C Divisions. The change-over from Mark VI. to Mark VII. ammunition is at present giving some competitors cause for anxiety In the adjustments required.
