H.M.S. DIOMEDE'S MEN.

About 150 officers and mea from H.M.S. Diomede, who have teen undergoing a fortnight's course of musketry instruction at Trentham, rejoined their ship to-day. They and the Dunedin's contingent in the camp were inspected yesterday, after a full march past, by Commodore G. T. C. P. Swabey, D.5.0., 8.N., Naval Officer-in-Charge of the New Zealand Division, and the Minister of Defence, the-Hon. F. J. ltolleston. The Diomedo will sail for Pieton on Tuesday morning, and will remain there till Ist ..December, when she will proceed to Napier to join H.M.S. Dunedin. f'he sails from Napier on 9th December for Gisborne, and after remaining there for four days, will go to Auckland. —
