NATIONAL REPERTORY THEATRE.
If the members of the National Repertory Society maintain the standard they achieved in A. A. Milne's play "Ariadne, or Business First," they are destined to become a vital force in local theatrical circles. The third and final performance bf this work was given at the Concert Chamber last night to a big audience, which must have been agreeably surprised at the all-round excellence of Mrs. E. J. Fawcett, Misses Kate Stocker, Constance Morice, and L. Fitzherbcrt, and. Messrs. Vivian Rhind, P. B. Broad, and W. S. Wauchop, who' filled the cast. In "The Maker of Dreams," a charming fantasy, which preceded the main production, Miss Thyra Baldwin and Messrs. E. S. Baldwin and Norman Burn also distinguished themselves. Throughout was to be seen evidences of the experienced and skilful hand of Mr. Leo dv Chateau, the producer.
