ORCHARDS DAMAGED

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The orchards in Heathcote Valley suffered considerably by the hail and ruin on Tuesday. The peaches and apricots had already received a set-back by the frosts, and fight crops are predicted. Tomato crops were also affected severely.
