The Australian Press Agency learns that as a result of Mr. Ooates's many interviews'with the London representatives of the Dairy Control Board and Butter Traders' Association combinjed, his negotiations with the par-1 tieV.have;-reached' a mutually acceptable'- policy for the marketing of the ■neit, '■ season's butter. The Dairy Board, has , not agreed, to forego altogether, the-policy. of price-fixing, but it _Ij£sh undertaken that this shall be do,p,e; jointly by the board and the trade, though, in the event of a disagreement, the board retains the last word. The" board has given the trade a .satisfactory assurance that it does 'noi, desire; to hold up supplies, but will alkiw the. new butter to go steadily •B-'to the market as it arrives.
