IN THE ROYAL PALACE
CIVIL MARRIAGE BY BURGOMASTER.
(Received sth November, 1 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, 4th November. The civil marriage of 'Princess Astrid and Princo Leopold wag celebrated in the hall of the Royal Palace, which was richly decorated. Princess Astrid, who was dressed in white satin with a train four yards long, had eight maids of honour and eight pages. The Burgomaster conducted a brief, simple ceremony, and concluded: "I declare you man and wife." Thereupon there was a salute of twenty-one guns.
