Senior and junior matches commenced on Saturday last will be resumed to-morrow. In the senior grade, when stumps were drawn last Saturday, Midland had compiled 240 in their first innings and Kilbirnie. had lost threo wickets for 79. Against Institute Petone made 238 in their first innings, and Institute have lost three wickets for 13. Thorndon's innings realised only 74 against Hutt, who have seven wickets down for 138. Old Boys compiled 175 against V.M.C.A., who havo lost three wickets for 55. Wellington put on 268, and time did not allow of their opponets ('Varsity) commencing their first innings.
