SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Mrs. R. I. E. Fildes's seafaring guests went an enjoyable evening last night at the' Sailors' Friend Society, when the men did not fail to • show their appreciation of the excellent entertainment provided Hospitality was dispensed by the hostess, who was assisted by the performers. Miss •Jean Turner s Band did splendid service. Those who rendered items were Mesdame^ Fildes, Batchelor-Cooke, Ironside, and Wells, Misses Blake, K. Hume,' Lottie, Rastall Wells,, Messrs. Batchelor-Cooke, Derbyshire, M'Kimms, and Stone. Mrs. iJatchelor-Cooke was at the piano. Corapetitions prizes came from the hostess and Masterton, and went to the men in port
