LONDON, 4th November.
Sir James Parr, who is attending the Leaguo of Nations' Mandates_ Committee at Geneva, missed the train in the morning owing to Imperial Conference business. With his secretary, Mr. Knowles, he then proceeded by aeroplane to Paris, and will arrive in time for the opening of the Committee meeting at Geneva. The League Mandates Committee discussed the questionnaire problem in view of tho objections raised in September. Signor Theodoli, chairman, replying to criticisms, said that the object of the questionnaire was to facilitate the collection of information. He thought the Mandatory Powers would prefer this to being subjected to questions of which no notice had been given.
