DECLINE IN BRITISH COMMERCE.

(United Press Association.—CppyrigTil.) GENEVA, 2nd November. The League Secretariat has issued soveral volumoa of statistics showing the world economic position. The most striking fact disclosed is that the contro of commercial movement is shifting from the Atlantic towards the Pacific. World commerce in 1925 exceeded the pre-war figure by 5 per cent. European, trade showed a decrease of 10 per cent. North America and Asia increased their trade by one-third. The figures as regards Britain show a slight falling-off in world trade.
