The residents of Island Bay want the fish-landing business sent away to West Beach. The fishermen want it located at the eastern end of the Bay. The latest proposal is that the landing-place should be midway, on the island itself, a 600 ft bridge being constructed from island to mainland. If this project comes to anything the bridge will reach from tho rocky point at the riant of the Illustration to the low rocks in line with the first and second houses. Probably a, suspension type will be used, with a central span of 100 to ISO feet,
