: "The Tower of Lies," a Metro-Goldwyn special, is screening, for the last time this evening at the King's Theatre. Lon Chancy, "the genius with a thousand faces," heads a superb cast. Through the use of make-up Chancy has been able to interpret a variety of roles which the average character actor could. never expect to portray. "The Tower of Lies" is a screen adaptation by Agnes Christine Johnston© of Selma Lagerlof'a "The Emperor of Portugallia," and was directed by Victor Seastrom. Chancy and, Norma Shearer are cd-starred. The supporting cast includes many players of note. Entertaining supporting subjects are included, together with superb orchestral music. l
