The bequest ,of between £2000 and £3000 to the Sfcthodist orphanages in Auckland was ' announced last evening at the annual demonstration given to the children from the homes. The legacy is under the terms of the will of the late Mrs. N. J. Serre, and together with other legacies recently received, will go toward meeting the liabilities incurred by the purchase of the Epsom Home.
