(Received 3rd November, 11 a.m.) PARIS, 2nd November. The newspaper "'Midi" asserts that Fascisti sent from Genoa to reinforce the frontier guards- provoked the Ventimiglia incident. They broke into the railwaymen's dormitory at the International Station, alleging that three men on the balcony did not bare their heads. The Fascists, hitting-and kicking, expelled fifteen Frenchmen. They also snatched a cigarette from an enginedriver'a lips, saying that he must not smoke in the presence of a Fascist. The police cleared out the Fascists, who were damaging French trains. A Fascist who broke into the Consulate was arrested.
