(United Press Association.—Copyright.) BERLIN, Ist November. ! The first instalment of the threequarters of a milion sterling indemnity, sanctioned by the Prussian Parliament, was paid to-day, "when a cheque for a quarter of a million was sent to the former Kaiser's bankers. Two other equal instalments will be paid in February and March. The greater part of the first instalment will be swallowed up in the payment of the ex-Kaiser's and his family's long-outstanding debts.
