AOTEA CLUB.
The weekly, shoot of the Aotea Club was held on Tuesday nlgbt, when Mr. L. Hare continued his possible-making record. He fired In the Osmond Shield match, and through an error in tho number of shots to be fired he fired ten shots Instead of seven, and put them all Into the bull. He then fired his shoot for the club championship and scored another possible. He has now scored 669 points out of a possible 670. The club had a friendly match against the Port Nicholson Ladles' Club and were unlucky to be beaten by a small margin, but managed to turn the tables at the strenuous game of "Grab." Mr. Staples welcomed the visitors and congratulated them on their good shooting, and presented a trophy to Miss Gordon for obtaining a possiblo, and to Miss M. M'Gulre, who drew the "booby." Miss Harper thanked the Aotea Club for a pleasant evening, and the excellent supper provided by the ladles of the'club.
