NORTON'S PREMIER EGO PRESERVATIVE.
An exhibit of paramount importance to bakers, pastrycooks, poultry men, and housewives is to be seen at the Manawatu Show, now in progress at Palmerston North. This is an attractively arranged display of Norton's Premier Egg Preservative. This firm are the pioneers of the egg-preserving industry, and it may be said Norton's has been a household word throughout the Dominion long- before poultry, farming took on such a popular turn as it has in recent years. What a great service Norton's egg preservative has given to the - egg-raisers of New Zealandl Alone last year there were no less than twenty-two million eggs put down by this popular preservative, which has the reputation of keeping eggs in excellent condition for upwards of three years—the longest period that any mixture has ever been known to preserve successfully. A special feature is the fact that eggs put down with Norton's mixture can be cooked in any form at any time, and could not be distinguished from freshly-laid eggs. Tests have proved this, and there is no denying the fact that Norton's preservative is out on its own for the purposes for which it comes before the public. It is worthy of mention that Norton's egg preservative, which emphatically is the original and only tested-out compound gained the only three gold medals given in competition for this in New Zealand. While eggs are cheap the thrifty housewives should procure a tin of Norton's, and make provision for the proverbial shortage. Eggs, as everyone knows, have an unfortunate habit of getting expensive just when they are most wanted. Do not let this aspect of the matter affect! your household. Give attention to the question, and preserve with-Norton's preservative, because it is the best. If your storekeeper cannot supply your demands write direct to the company, i whose headquarters are at Lyttelton. '■
