VELLA'S PURE GRAPE WINES.

Mr. E. A. Hill, the Palmerston North and district agent for Vella'a pure grape wines, is making a very nice display at the present show, now in progress at Palmerston North* Special reserve port, tawny port, and muscat sherry seems to be the leading lines of the exhibit, and those who know Mr. Hill personally know full well that he never associates himself with anything but the best, and his old and regular clients are asked to call at his stand, test these high-class wines, and book their Christmas orders. Mr. Hill has also recently become associated in the auctioneering business with Mr. Biddell. The new firm's headquarters is the Exchange Auction Mart, adjacent to the GJ.O., in the Square, and from present indications, this mart is going to become exceedingly i popular with the public. Mr. Biddell is an expert in growing pot-plants, fruit, flowers, and vegetables. Regular daily supplies of these are brought up to the mart each morning from Hoko-whitu,-and are sold to the public at first cost, which is proving a big saving to'heads of families. This, of course, is only one of the many lines featured by the new firm. Regular mart sales are held on Thursdays and Saturdays, when furniture and all manner of goods are submitted without reserve. If you want to get a good price for your sundries, take them to the Exchange Mart. '
