BERT HANSHI, "The Pork Shop" and Small Goods Specialist

PaUamto- North.

With two up-to-date shops, one in the Square and another in Broadway, Palmerston North, Mr. B. Hansel caters well to tke public's requirements in the matter of all things pertaining to fresh pork, small goods of all description, and the Palm Brand of hams and bacon, as supplied to New Zealand's House of Representatives. The proprietor is a specialist in every sense of the word, and hi* establishments are regarded in the resl light of a household's convenience. He is a cash buyer of the primest quality pigs, all of which are subject to the most rigid Government inspection, and through his personal attention to the business his shops have become a popular rendezvous of the housewife in search of an appetising delicacy for lunch, tea, or supper. It would haTdly be possible to enumerate all the lines manufactured here, but you would appreciate the delicious cooked ham, pressed tongue, saveloys, pork pies, Belgian sausage, roast pork, and the hundred and one other lines for which the house has become famous. There ia no need to bother about cooking nowadays, for Mr. Hansel can supply your breakfast, dinner, or tea from fresh-made and dainty dishes of the best. It is merely_ a question of how many you wish to cater for, and surely this is a great convenience to the people these days, especially to those who are hampered with small families, and the troubles and trials of household drudgery. You merely buy what you want, -thus avoiding any waste, and materially reducing the cost of living. The writer recently had the pleasure of inspecting the manufacturing departments, and if a certificate of merit for cleanliness and general hygienic surroundings were needed it would be awarded with points in to the proprietor. Everywhere, and everything, waa cleanliness exemplified.
