Mr. Wm.' Proctor, for the past thirteen years ifactory foreman for Needham's, Ltd., in Bangitikei street, has now severed his connection with the company,' and commenced business on his own account in new premises at the corner of Main and, Bryant streets, and adjacent to the Taringamutu Totara Sawmill's, timber yard. Mr. Proctor's many friends will wish him well in his new venture. He has had' many years' practical' experience in the manufacture of sashes, doors, and all joinery work, as well as. an excellent insight into the building trade. Mr. Proctor has already installed a complete plant for the manufacture of all joinery .work, and it is his intention to specialise in this.
